Meet the Team
Julian Reavell

Julian is never happier than when he is working on a model kit or walking in the countryside - but he’ll tell you that neither of those happen very often.
We all benefit from his reading of Christian scholars and works from great publishing houses.
Len Clark
Len has shared the leading of worship since 1987. He is a Database Administrator and finds his time equally divided in church between answering tricky theological questions and solving PC problems.
Recently, most of Len’s spare time seems to have been taken up developing Web sites - notably this one.
He constantly returns to the single overwhelming fact that God loves us and that everything else is within the context of that amazing truth.
Steve Wooding

Steve is an accomplished physicist who has moved from a career in industry to establish his own business (Ice and Lemon). When not providing personal life-skills coaching, he can be found showing young people how to manage their bikes and cycling skills.
Bob Banton

Bob has recently retired from John Moores university as a Lecturer and now works as a Learning Manager for the Liverpool Diocese. A couple of days a week he offers pastoral and practical skills to Page Moss Lane Baptist church.
He and Val have three grown-up children (Matthew, Gareth and Charis). What little spare time he has is taken up with his theological studies as he trains for the ministry.
The Deacons

They work hard in a variety of areas: Missionary interest, Pastoral oversight, youth activities, the Child Contact Centre and many others. However (as you can see) the whole leadership enjoys each others company and fellowship.
Diana Reavell

Many aspects of the church's life would not function if it weren't for Diana. She is a founder member of the Toddler Group, routinely leads a Home Group and is the driving force behind our Children's Contact Centre.
Diana regularly supports her husband, Julian, in preparing services and often leads services in her own right.
Ruth Ross

Ruth takes great care of the church, organising our pastoral concern and spearheading a chain of prayer, when needed. She also keeps us up-to-date with Missionary support and occasionally fills in on a Sunday as a pianist.
She has amazing energy and always finds something supportive to say.
She is also a keen member of Women Aglow and has been a long-time supporter of He Intends Victory.

Pauline Williams
Pauline was responsible for the young people's and children's work in the Church until recently. She is now exploring new avenues of service for the Lord. She has always had a particular concern for the community and many in the area find their way to her house in times of need.
She is still working as a classroom assistant.
Linda Wooding

Linda is a qualified Nusery Nurse who, with her husband, Steve, has been exploring new work opportunities. She also has an interest in getting others singing and loves story-telling.
In the church, she has recently taken on the leadership of children and young people's work. She also enjoys puppet work and often leads worship with Steve.
Robert Tarbuck
Robert is often the voice of quiet sanity in the diaconate. He has been involved in Baptist work in the city for longer than he cares to remember and sometimes brings the historic perspective to our deliberations.
He is nearly always found at the door of the church on a Sunday, giving all arrivals a warm welcome and making sure that they have everything they need.
Simon Case
Simon is a talented member of the fellowship who works as a qualified architect. He plays for the service most Sundays and has taken responsibility for Rock Solid, our outreach to young people. He also provides invaluable support for our audio equipment and is an accomplished photographer.
Sam Pennington
Sam provides a much-needed practical perspective for the leadership group. Now that he is retired from Jaguar, he never seems to be happier than when he is tackling a job around the home or around the church ... and there's plenty to keep him occupied. He is a leading member of our "A-Team" - a humorous reference to the team who get down and dirty to make the solution happen.
